The Myth of Material Progress

Wednesday 19 June 2013 Leave a comment

You can ignore the moral laws of God all you like, but they don’t go away.

If you ignore them and build a science of prosperity based merely on what humans can perceive and reason about, you will inevitably find yourself on a roller-coaster. It’s unavoidable. Material prosperity as a goal, either alone or as part of a larger materialistic matrix, always ends up pulling too fast when God plans a slow-down. You cannot know about the slow-down because you have discounted God’s revelation in the first place, so He can’t tell you. Then you’ll miss rich opportunities when He’s being more generous for His inscrutable divine reasons.

God does communicate much in terms of precise measurement. While He is fully aware of our time-space senses, He suffers none of that. His perspective on time is from that of Creator. If anything, the experience of time-space constraints are part of the Fall, a part of the curse of human sin. The human rational view of linear time is what’s left when you exclude God. The mystic does not extinguish the divine otherworldly senses, and so faces the passage of time with a totally different perspective. Mysticism is necessary to understand what God is up to in this world; Western anti-mysticism is anti-Christian.

If you address yourself to the world from the mystical approach, you can still have material progress. You won’t be too concerned about it, which is part of the reason you’ll have it. It will be an ebb and flow and you’ll manage because there are far more important moral issues than human comfort and that feeble sense of security that comes from thinking you have control over things. The materialistic Western view looks only at the machinery of things and demands to know all the details and control over the levers. It won’t happen.

So we see a civilization based on rejecting fundamental truth and reality. You chase down all the best ways to have a better life and a longer life, because you can’t see anything beyond this life. So you make some kind of estimated optimum use of material resources, but you’ll always be chasing that more and better. It is inevitable that you will borrow from the future. Sooner or later, it must crash. God warned it would happen, but that’s not allowed in the Western material viewpoint. You can see a whole range of long-distance multi-generational planning that assumes God isn’t going to bring some surprises into the mix. Funny how the ancient mystical civilizations always had access to God’s warnings about such things. Remember Joseph in Egypt and the years of plenty followed by famine? Not permitted in the modern West, yet all part of God’s greater plans leading to the Exodus and some other events.

Brothers and sisters, please depart the prison of Western thinking.

None Righteous

“There is no one righteous, not even one.” (Romans 3:10 NET, quoting Psalm 14)

The human race is fallen. The most basic demand from God after the Flood was for Noah to institute social constraints on human behavior. Men were to get off their lazy butts, as in the sin of Adam in dealing with Eve, and take charge of thinking about moral implications to prevent the demise of the entire human race. The human psyche typically includes a measure of restraint, a superego telling us certain things might be fun, pleasant, entertaining or offer some advantage, but isn’t worth the other consequences. It seldom rests in our minds as pragmatic, but as a foreboding “ought” accompanied with feelings of guilt, etc.

No, morally mature people don’t need guilt and so forth to participate in preserving our humanity, but most people never quite reach moral maturity. Human moral development tends to slow down around age 6, and many never reach teenage skepticism. Precious few ever get past that to a sense of peace and purpose about things. Thus, we have a social structure which tends to create psychic barriers not easily crossed. Without them, there might not be a human race.

So most of us run around with a taste for things we’d never actually do or obtain. Within a given social context, those things tend to be illegal. Law is a moral statement of sorts. It’s a commonly recognized cycle that a society will be vigorous with simple and strict laws at first, reflecting the sort of vigor of something which is vital and growing. At some point there is a consciousness of prosperity and the barriers become more complex and fungible. At some point the ones that actually serve a purpose kind of collapse or simply stretch too far to be useful. Meanwhile, the laws that simply cannot serve any good purpose become so common that the society eventually breaks down, consuming itself.

That final stage is coupled with insane laws that attempt to reach inside the very mind. It’s no longer what we do that is illegal, but what we think. The final mark of social collapse is a complicated and utterly senseless orthodoxy of social morality that demands you confess your sins, including a whole raft of things about which you have zero interest in the first place. Your very humanity itself becomes illegal.

The Law God gave Noah presupposes you can only act on things people do wrong. The only person with any business counseling you on underlying immoral desires is someone who knows you well enough to recognize your tendencies. The Law of Noah also presupposes it is totally evil to farm out that responsibility — that fatherly shepherd duty — to anyone who isn’t direct family kin. No one else has any business getting to know you that well. You cannot trust anyone else with your real self. Anyone who isn’t bound up in your life in the first place, who doesn’t share your suffering, is damned for wanting to know.

That is inherent in the concept of “civility,” the term we use to describe any social milieu for restraining common human immorality. You could correctly say the fundamental Law of God for the human race equates to civility — Covenant of Noah = civility. Civility was thus defined ages before Western Civilization arose. This business of a godlike intrusion into your stream of awareness is a quintessential expression of Satan. Privacy is not a right; invasion of privacy is so fundamentally evil it transcends talk of rights. It goes all the way back to why God might destroy humanity. That we have a Western social habit of intruding into privacy, a childlike demand to know everything about which we might be the least bit curious — “What are thinking about me?” — is a symptom of how far we have fallen back toward the society God destroyed in the Flood. That we have so many willing to spill the entire contents of their stream of consciousness without any regard for privacy and civility shows another round of destruction is wholly justified.

Yeah, Western Civilization in general, and America in particular, is doomed. God’s wrath is upon us and we so richly deserve it.

Eve Was Deceived

If you want to call God a misogynist, feel free. He’s not too concerned with your opinions and reasoning, especially if you are a sucker for the mythology of feminism.

Human nature has not changed one iota since the Fall. We are simply much farther from the path back to Eden. The Flaming Sword of His Law is foreign to our modern outlook, but it is our modernity which is wrong. Not in the manifestations and window dressing, but in the substance and essence is our entire understanding perverted from the ancient purity of truth.

The whole purpose of the Law Covenants was to point out how we should cease caring too much about this world. The Law makes the blunt statement that we cannot bring the flesh into obedience of the Spirit of a Holy God. Our lives are spent training the flesh to obey. The flesh includes the reason and intellect, and we use tricks to enslave the flesh to the Spirit. The flesh will fight and resist, but as we live longer on this earth, the flesh begins to learn and understand what is in its own best interest. It learns that the Laws of God are the revelation of our real nature and how this universe works.

That Word of God tells us God wove into creation a moral fabric. He asserts that seeking to understand and live by His moral expectations, we can claim the most that this fallen world can offer. God spelled out a sampling of the benefits in the Law of Moses. The idea was to get folks used to living justly as He defined it, and get them used to seeing nature itself respond with blessings. Living by His Laws sets nature free to do what Adam had it doing before the Fall. Of course, we know we can’t perform 100%, but that was never the point of the Law. It was to draw our attention to the moral fabric woven into this world.

Once we develop a moral sensitivity as He defined it, we begin to understand as much of His nature as we are ever going to grasp. His Laws portray an image of how He wants us to live. Doing this turns us into a living message of His divine truth. We portray a consciousness of higher things that man cannot possibly learn any other way. Between our success with His blessings and our complete lack of worldliness in the first place, we show the truth. We show the world as much as they can have. God knows what is in the best interests of His creation, and our moral conduct reflects His divine means to revealing His truth.

You, with all your education and rational power, cannot match what He revealed; stop trying to improvise. Feminism is entirely contrary to His revelation. It is a mythology derived from two cultures hostile to His truth. It is justified only if the older Western patriarchy is the truth, but that was a lie, too. Throw it in the trash. Male and female are not interchangeable.

Men, God hates your Western cultural habits and your intellectual arrogance. His Laws demand we become shepherds, not sheep and certainly not predators. You are to live a sacrificial concern for those under your care. You’ll do the right thing because it’s right. You’ll fight the instinct to lay back and demand service for yourself. His moral laws for you are to take the lead, not push from behind. Be the man; do what’s just in God’s eyes regardless of what others do. Know your mission and let nothing in this world hinder it. It’s not your job to pick a wife in the sense of going hunting. It’s your job to select from those who seek your attention. She will come to you, or she will be in the path you must tread to obey the Lord. It is your job to decide what God requires for your mission, to know when the desires and wishes of any other person are a threat to your mission. That includes not letting your wife interfere.

Women, you are not in charge. God will tell you which man is right for you; it will seize you like fire deep in your being. Pay no attention to shallow attraction. That’s how you are wired. You must communicate your interest in him and his mission, because when he accepts you, his mission becomes your mission. Your job is to make it sweeter and stronger, more effective at showing the truth.

Both the man and woman must be aware of weaknesses that will hinder things. Men will want anything that strikes them as lovely and feminine. In this world today, most women are lying about it. They might be lovely to the eyes, but they can offer nothing a woman should offer. Instead, they want to use their attractive powers to dominate you. Learn to ignore this signal. Recognize that you like what your senses tell you is good stuff, and that your senses are your worst enemy. Your lust is not in your best interest.

Ladies, your instinct to control is evil. God says you are missing a crucial element in working through your efforts to make a good home: You cannot reliably read the moral implications as well as your man can. You are more likely to stray than he, from both the mission and your commitment to him. Your drive to control certain things in not in your best interest. Learn to detect the deeper drive to mother, and learn not to smother. A critical element in your man being the man is your instinct to support and encourage his manliness.

Once a man realizes he must shepherd in all situations his whole life long, the rest is just figuring out the implications. They are not always obvious. Learn Game, both of you. Learn what it means to portray to your beloved, intended or already bound together, the essence of what makes you most desirable. Don’t accept what this modern world says is the essence, but learn it from the ancient perspective.

God hasn’t changed and His Laws still tell the moral truth, still explain reality.

Good Bets

It’s not as if I have any secret revelations, but sometimes it helps to restate the obvious.

All governments lie, some more than others. The US government is incapable of telling the truth, especially if the message comes through the MSM. If Holder says that Snowden’s leaks hurt the government, what it really means is Holder is cackling at how successful this PsyOp was. You don’t have to know the real story to recognize the basic fact the only thing keeping the US government from slaughtering even more people is bureaucratic inertia. On top of that, it’s much more fun to murder people when they are panic-stricken. I mean this quite literally: The people running the US government are controlled by demons. They don’t need to be personally evil, though a great many are. Rather, the whole system is now under Satan’s control. Again, I mean this quite literally.

I’m not particularly brilliant, but for reasons I’ll never understand in this lifetime, God has chosen to show me some things He’s tried to show others. Quite some years ago I knew the US was doomed for her sins. Once I understood the time scale of God’s operations on this earth, I realized a fifty-year delay in His wrath was awfully quick. I saw His wrath coming and my spirit recognized there was no exit path for this nation. The options were gone, discarded too long ago for any hope during my lifetime. I was born after the decision was already set in stone. But God’s wrath is on the people who could have known better if they had chosen to seek His face. They didn’t. Instead, they played the same game as Judah’s leadership up to the Exile. They shook their finger in God’s face and demanded He play by rules He never said were His. They allowed their human intellect to define God’s revelation, a fallen intellect wholly incapable of grasping the most basic elements of truth.

Yes, feel free to dismiss me as an insane crank. It won’t hurt my feelings.

Let me say it again: Our evil government is the means of God’s wrath on America. This government will grow more insanely stupid and hateful until there is a some incomprehensible bloodbath. The lies will pile up to the sky long past the time the carnage begins. You simply cannot imagine what is coming. This is God’s wrath on the American people for flouting His Word. Worst of all: American Christians are responsible for this mess, and they will suffer for it. Because these Christians have absorbed the message and methods of the Pharisees, their end shall follow the same pattern. Just when they think their power and success is at hand, it will blow up in their faces. It’s not the simple issue of theology, but a theology built on entirely false assumptions and human presumption. Worst of all, they have defiled the mission of the Church.

The message of Christ was how to leave this world. Nothing in His teaching was about fixing this broken world, only to show that this world is not what His Father intended. We live by God’s moral laws as the means to pointing people to a higher realm. American Christians are hung up on this world, so their actions are consistently unlawful and immoral. The actions of American Christians in support of lies is what causes all the trouble. Their false beliefs make them act with incredible stupidity and blindness. They have compromised with the Beast, thinking they can bind its future actions. Satan cannot be bound by a covenant. At the moment they least expect, the Beast will turn on them; persecution will catch them completely off guard. The Lord may grant a few of them escape, but a great many will end up enslaved, if they survive. How fortunate will be those who die! The loudest and most prominent Christian organizational leaders will suffer the most. This is the warning of God.

I could discuss repentance avenues, but that’s not the purpose of today’s post. I’ve covered that in previous posts at length. The people most likely to survive and even prosper are those who are not wrapped up in this world.

Meanwhile, it’s a good bet the US will get mired in Syria on the way to Iran. The plans are deeply misguided, because deceiving demons are their advisers. Even if our government gains any measure of success in what they plan for Syria, it will have already lost just by getting involved. By the time they get ready to strike at Iran, it will be too late for any hope of victory by any definition. Thus, my prophetic warning that any attack on Iran will end in battlefield disaster.

We have made that last fatal turn in the path to destruction. The ax is not laid at the root, but has already begun cutting. There may be some surprises along the way, but the end is in sight. I don’t have words to describe it. Human language cannot bear up under the load of such madness. The American churches together are the Great Harlot; America is the drug-addled bitch of the Beast. Babylon is fallen, and the smoke rises up to Heaven.

Again, God’s time scale is not like ours. It will take some months to play out on our level, but the game is over in God’s eyes.

Untangling Activist Logic

Tuesday 4 June 2013 2 comments

Activist logic does not even qualify as decent Aristotelian logic.

In order to reject the primacy of Aristotelian epistemology, I first had to understand it to some degree. This didn’t come as some dreamy longing for swords and sorcery. It came from genuine scholarship, though I’ll be the first to admit it’s not my scholarship, but that of others who have been ignored and marginalized. Somehow I managed to get what they were saying and the truth of it consumed me.

Activism assumes a certain power of the people which cannot be proved. Yes, there are apparent victories, but no lasting change. Instead, it’s the oppression that endures and finds another way, while liberty dies from a thousand cuts. What most people foolishly ignore is the hollow core of human decency. It’s there, but it always highly limited to certain contexts.

Glaring and dramatic illustration: Okies are generally nice people. Most folks out here in the semi-rural Eastern Oklahoma County will be decent when things are okay. Some are wild and crazy all the time, but generally decent. Put them under the least bit of pressure and decency fades quickly. Because our area was subject to tornado threats, our household decided to head south out of its path. That meant two-lane rural roads, laid out mostly in a square grid pattern here in Oklahoma. There are enough people and enough cars to pack these quiet rural roads if they all decide to do the obvious at the same time. So we found ourselves in slow moving traffic as we rolled over hill and dale toward some landmark we all knew. While the majority did stay within the common rules of courtesy, you would scarcely believe the huge minority that didn’t. So while we sat in an open parking area that was generally safe for awhile, we were treated to the spectacle of heavy traffic taking both lanes in the same direction and the most incredible panicky impatience that was willing to risk the lives of others to escape.

Prolong the panic past a single night and there would have soon been massive loss of life from crazies, compounded by those who were intent on teaching them a lesson. This is an anecdote to illustrate, not prove, my point. Our Western Civilization is exceedingly fragile. So long as we can expend our emotional energy on virtual threats in games and movies, or in wars in other places, things will be okay here at home. But the underlying brutality is not tamed, only diverted. This reflects the vast layer of Germanic social mythology lying over our Greco-Roman heritage — this is the fundamental nature of the Enlightenment, and the West will never progress any farther than that. We are not exactly Aristotelian. We still have this massive element of brutality and call it something else as justification for not examining it. The willingness to harm others as the means to changing things we don’t like is the core of activism. That we somehow convince ourselves our activist goals reflect the will of some god or another changes nothing. It’s still doing bad things in pursuit of what we imagine is good. It’s the same instinct for oppression but from the opposition parties.

Meanwhile, the pacifist veneer peels off quickly when it comes to things people really want. Doctrinaire pacifists are rare because they are killed off when things get genuinely hairy. Wise pacifists aren’t involved in the first place. They realize peace cannot be gained by activism, because humanity cannot ever be at peace. Only in the wildest frothy imaginations of idiots could we find the notion mankind is inherently peaceful. Violence is fundamental to the nature of the Fall. Humans evolve physically, and our intellectual wiring changes with both short and long term environmental influences, but intellect cannot possibly rise above a certain point. It cannot discern ultimate reality. And without a very solid background in mysticism, it cannot even discern the facts, never mind fundamental reality.

Activism is a manifestation a particular cultural mythology. You cannot sustain the energy level necessary to keep evil in a box. Static constraints are a waste of time; you cannot outsmart the genius of evil by designing barriers. There is no foolproof plan. The potential is there for containing evil, but it requires an opposing watchful force at least equal to the threat. The moral passion is not strong enough to keep it up. Logic and human longing are not sufficient. Oppression is fundamental to our human nature; it requires no particular effort. Activism against oppression is contrary to our nature. All the changes you think you can gain are illusory. We are still left with that damned meanness that pervades the human race and guarantees the same flood of sewage will go somewhere regardless of your levies to contain it. Talk the Army Corps of Engineers about the futility of flood mitigation; we’ve seen it right here in my county. No matter how far out you plan your cycle (“100 year flood levels”), that time eventually comes around and the levies are topped or breached. Activism is limited to tactical measures and temporary shifts.

Do you worry what your children will live with? Too bad; you can’t do much more than help them learn what you learned. Constrain them too tightly and your social edifice will crumble for being too ambitious. Constrain them not at all and they will turn on you for lack of interest. As for some vague notion of building a society in which they can prosper: You cannot possibly make that much difference. Peace, love and understanding cannot be imposed or it ceases being peace, love and understanding. It requires a voluntary embrace, a conscious choice which cannot be sold to more than a tiny minority at any given time. You can have it in yourself and demonstrate it. It’s a weak contagion against a strong immunization.

The logic of Paul’s admonition to be submissive to human government does not demand loving the evil that governments inevitably do, nor does it require imbuing those governments with a false holiness. Nothing in Scripture makes human government sacred; you have to misread it on purpose to get that idea. Ordained by God is one thing; sacred is another. Government is a part of the punishment of the Fall. Besides which, not a single government in the world today obeys God’s ordinance about structure and conduct. Thus, He works with them as they are, as slaves who never understand and require constant force just to stay in place. It requires a peculiarly damned foolishness to leap from “God requires we obey” to “God says it’s a good and holy thing.”

Paul’s logic is based on the assumption you can’t accomplish much by resisting, because the rest of the Bible makes it painfully obvious God is in control of human politics. His plans are indicated in parabolic language, but never actually explained because they are above human intellect. We are told to trust Him and play along, giving our time and attention to the things He has placed in our hands. Human politics is not in our hands. Such affairs run according to His dictates and He is not accountable to us; we are accountable to Him. We should expect no lasting or significant influence on human affairs. Rather, we focus on glorifying God, even at the cost of seeing our children taken from us and enslaved to unconscionable evil. Trust God for their lives and obey the mandate to stay focused on His glory. In other words, flee when you can, resist when you know His Spirit demands it of you, but don’t actually expect anything to change. Trust Him for the outcome.

It is a peculiarly damned Western myth that fires our hyper-protective instinct regarding our progeny; we go way too far in demanding control and prescribing outcomes. His Word admonishes us to raise them with a grip much more limited than the evil mythology of our times implies. We pull parenting epigrams out of context, completely missing the cultural and intellectual atmosphere behind them. We bring to the Bible a broad collection of false dichotomies and completely miss the point. We end up striving against God by not trusting Him to take care of our kids for us, particularly in those things He says are His concerns, not ours.

Teach your kids the moral laws of God first by living them. Those moral laws include a requirement we be otherworldly, not activist. Then, having demonstrated them, we teach them orally. Against the vast ocean of falsehood we face today, that’s a pretty big job. Still, at some point your spirit recognizes you can’t steer the outcome, neither for your children nor the rest of society. Just because you built your homes in Tornado Alley during the quiet part of the cycle is no reason to blame God when the storms come around and rip your house and children to shreds. It’s your fault.

Do you blame God for slaughtering the Egyptian children during the Passover, the final grand affliction of the Ten Plagues? No, we blame the Egyptian parents for rejecting God’s message. That mess was not necessary. It was human intransigence against the patient and merciful hand of God. Don’t be like them, demanding God conform to your expectations when He has offered plenty of warning it will not be that way. Nor should you be like the Pharisees, clinging to a false God of your intellectual reasoning. God is hardly constrained by Aristotle’s delusions.

Activism is the ultimate expression of human folly.

Defined by Morality

Sunday 2 June 2013 Leave a comment

Morality and Justice are the roughly equivalent terms in the Kingdom of God.

It is the divine imperative, not in the sense so much of laws as a divine gift from God. He offers to fallen mankind the opportunity to embrace a life that is consistent with the design of Creation. It is not a bunch of rules we have to follow in order to stay out of trouble with God. It’s much more far reaching than that. It’s the mindset necessary to avoid His wrath, to ameliorate the effects of the Fall. Living by God’s Laws embraces reality as God sees it. The viewpoint of morality is reality.

As noted in the previous post, morality includes the requirement we adopt an Ancient Hebrew Mystical intellectual approach. Without that, morality simply is not possible. So long as you remain within the Western rational frame of reference, you cannot have a moral life, and you cannot understand reality. So radical is this demand, we immediately realize God will not in any way permit “saving America” because repentance means rejecting America by any definition. God is all about saving Americans, though. Here are some critical demands of His Justice for us. They are not rules and absolutes, but the entire frame of reference is that you are committed to seeking adherence to the degree God makes it possible. If you seek His Justice, He’ll make provisions for a measure of obedience that will harvest His promised blessings.

By no means do we actually give any allegiance to any human government, but we don’t fight them, either. We seek ways to stay out of trouble, living in peace with the damned governments of men. As far as God is concerned, living in His sacrificial love is all the Law you need to worry about. That is your entire duty to human governments; if you embrace His Laws, He demands nothing more of you in relation to human governments. Again, all of this means you seek His guidance in the Spirit, trying to understand His justice from a viewpoint higher than intellect, harnessing the mind in service to the spirit.

To the degree possible, you’ll resurrect the ancient Hebrew tribal lifestyle. That is, you are transferring your political loyalty to your extended family and clan. While it would ideally be blood kinship, the Kingdom of Heaven is more a matter of shared spiritual DNA. He calls us together into family groups He calls “churches.” Your church is your earthly government, your extended family household. The organization is patriarchy, with a ritual leader (pastor) and an organizational leader (elder) with neither over the other, but cooperatively leading all the rest of the church together as co-shepherds. They are the church equivalent of Two Witnesses, king and priest. Any other style of church organization is evil, and registering with the human civil government is almost surely a huge mistake.

Only those who produce agricultural products tithe. Everyone else contributes as they feel led by the Spirit of God. The church leadership decides how the resources are used. There are no budgets or organizational plans, no objectives defined on paper. It’s not a business or corporation; it’s a family. The organization exists only to be a family of faith, learning how to leave this world behind and care more about Heaven. We live here only so long as it takes to complete our individual callings to bring Christ glory. We do that by living together as a family and implementing His Justice in our own lives.

To the degree possible, the church seeks to form a separate society within the fallen world. The primary means to growth is letting others see how we just don’t care that much about this world in the first place. We can afford to love sacrificially according to the guidance of the Spirit. Whom the Lord moves will surely join us. We don’t harass people or offer some logical sales pitch; we don’t manipulate people into “decisions” because no human can decide to be born again. It is 100% a miracle of God alone. Our only part is to show His power over this world by how we live according to His moral imperatives.

Human relations are pretty much according to Game. I’ve written enough about that here. Embrace what men and women are supposed to be and the details will generally take care of themselves. Game as a branch of behavioral science answers just about all the basic questions of how we were meant to live together as humans. The principles can be abused, as can almost the entire range of moral truth, but this is reality, morality and justice. It’s a description of how we are wired and God commands we discard the mythology of the West.

We are neither conservative nor liberal. We follow ancient truth, a truth that takes a different shape depending on the context. We don’t flaunt our flesh; we don’t waste resources on decorating this body. A clear heart and mind will see beauty as God intended it. Ostentation is evil; artful use of resources is godly. We lavish time and effort; we engage this world directly. We don’t hire outside help unless it’s absolutely necessary to keep peace with those outside the church. Everything is private as much as possible; that is our witness. Our single greatest expense will always be people and their human needs within the body. We spare precious little concern for what the world demands in order to take us seriously. We should have no desire to be like them. Excessive displays of flesh — both literal and figurative — should make us uncomfortable. “More spiritual” means less fleshly and worldly, not more cerebral, because the intellect is fallen flesh.

We fear nothing arising from this world; human death is just a circumstance in the Kingdom of God. We choose it voluntarily by discounting what this world holds as important. There is no human flaw, disease or problem God cannot heal. By the same token, no sorrow or difficulty is so great He can’t empower us to live with it. Satan and his demons are confined by the Laws of God. When you and I live in moral justice, their power in our lives is diminished. God does not offer a “get out of jail free” card when it comes to the sorrow and suffering of this life, but offers us a moral understanding that trumps it all. The first miracle is we stop caring about it. When all this plane of existence, including your entire range of human resources, is for you merely a collection of tools for His glory, then you understand. If you are not otherworldly, you are too worldly.

Grab hold of these things and you’ll be so very far ahead of everyone else in America, you’ll be amazed at the immense difference it makes. You’ll stand in God’s favor and the sense of peace is impossible to describe. But be warned: If this thing does not call your name, you can’t do it. If it does call your name, all of it is well within your reach.

Morality Defines All Things

Sunday 2 June 2013 Leave a comment

Morality is defined as obedience to God’s revelation regarding things in this life. It is living in this fallen world according to a divine understanding of what’s wrong and what’s right, but it assumes an understanding that is higher than human intellect. If we could raise up three or four generations within the Ancient Near Eastern Mystical intellectual traditions, we could just possibly reconstruct a morality that approximates God’s living divine will. Anything less is a complete moral failure.

Jesus taught that it was necessary to have a spiritual birth, a living connection between the soul and the Realm of the Spirit, to really understand God’s will. What the entire range of Western Christendom refuses to understand is that Jesus also taught the Hebrew Mystical outlook as the necessary human preparation to be used by the Spirit of God. That is, the human task of clinging to God’s holiness is the task of conditioning the mind to be more Hebraic. His own people were not very Hebraic in His day, having suffered the embrace of Hellenism among the religious leaders. Hebrew Mysticism wasn’t totally absent from the Judean people, but it was fading fast. If you don’t grasp how His declarations demanded a return to Hebrew thinking, a repentance from Hellenism, you cannot possibly pretend to understand Jesus.

You also cannot understand the failure of Judaism, because that religion is not at all the same as the Old Testament religion of Israel. It bears some superficial resemblance, but it is not the same at the core of how it rests in the human mind. The mind was given by God to organize and implement His moral laws, not to rule and control the executive decision making process. The Spirit of God is the ultimate Executive, working only through our spirits. The rituals of the Old Testament permitted men to learn from God’s Spirit when they were not necessarily spirit-born. It was in proper observance of the rituals that His Spirit rested upon the process and the results reflected His divine will. Some few rare individuals were born of the Spirit in the Old Testament, people who were possessed of a high moral intelligence. But after the Cross, that was thrown open to a great many more people. So after the Cross, we no longer pass through grand rituals to hear from God, but we are permitted to enter His divine Presence in the Spirit Realm itself.

Without the intellectual foundation of the ancient Hebrew Mysticism, the mind cannot begin to understand the moving of the Spirit. Some things will be obvious, but we will not make much of the refinement of His divine will because it will remain incomprehensible. God sponsors any effort to embrace His will, but it will be technically wrong. It will be pleasing to Him personally that you will want to do what’s right, but you won’t be able to understand it because your Westernized (Hellenized) mind cannot follow the mystical paths of God’s revelation. Your mind has been subtly trained to distrust the one path God laid on this earth for the human mind to understand His divine moral laws.

This is why the churches today are so morally and spiritually corrupt. The ancient ways define the answers, but the modern mind rejects those definitions. We find plenty of people determined to reclaim the blessings of morality, but failing completely to understand the very nature of what morality is. Yes, obeying His Laws will bring prosperity, but not prosperity as defined by Western Christians. It’s not a matter of expensive suits, big houses and cars. Divine morality is a matter of producing more than you need so you can share it with those who don’t have. So people follow some code of productivity which seems to work, but that path has always brought the same results since ancient Babylon. That is not morality and it is not the blessings of God you receive from it. You are simply reaping the rewards of Western mercantile culture within a Western mercantile economic system.

That system is dying, folks. Pretty soon your “holy” habits won’t produce the same level of wealth. When the traditional Western Christian methods of gaining wealth quit working, it will shock the churches and people will fall away from the false religion. The Christians in leadership will remain completely lost in their false system of belief and will not understand why it’s coming apart, and will insist the faithful stay the course and ride the current over the waterfall. People will be hurt, suffering far more than is necessary in this fallen world.

Meanwhile, a precious few do understand the moral fabric of the universe, having rejected the dominance Western rationalism made it the servant, not the lord. They reject all the definitions of the West and these few will reap what little is possible from a world under God’s wrath. The Western traditional rejection of the ancient Hebrew ways must bring His wrath; that was His promise long ago. As with the Pharisees who had defined God into something totally foreign to His revelation, I expect most of Western Christianity to continue rejecting the ancient ways right up until the modern version of the Roman destruction of Jerusalem comes upon us. I can see a fading, dying false religion still clinging to their mythology the way Judaism does today. The Jews threw their heritage away; we never had it because we rejected it before we started. With the Judeans, His wrath was targeted at taking away the false religious infrastructure. He refused to protect the one thing to which they clung, because His Presence was not in it. With us here in the US, it will be far more general because we don’t have a shred of truth to save, and His Presence was never here in any significant sense. He brought spiritual life to people largely despite the churches.

Instead, we have a mythology of holiness that was false from the start. God permitted it because of His own patience, the same as He permitted ancient pagan religions to flourish outside His revelation. Our brand of Christianity in the US is more pagan than godly, as it is generally throughout the West. I have the audacity to say this because He has seized me and demanded I understand His moral laws and the ways of His revelation. He has pulled me through the grinder, shredding and shedding the ways of the West. Not in some superficial aping of something you might recognize as Middle Eastern habits or anything that silly, but I embrace the paths of thought God laid down for those who follow Him.

I’m not better than you. My life has a better morality because it follows His revelation more accurately. My human weaknesses are ever before me, a painful constant reminder of my fallen nature. Still, it is His pleasure to show me His truth. I have begun to see His world through His eyes. By no means have I arrived, but I define all things through His divine revelation of morality, and it obviously makes me see a radically different world than most American Christians.

Folks, we are in deep trouble with God as a nation. It’s over; there is no path of repentance for this nation because it was built on sand in the first place. These storms here in Oklahoma are just a parable of the wider wrath of God upon our intellectual foundations. We have to start from scratch and build our lives according to His moral laws, not some mythical garbage stolen from nearly two thousand years of accommodation with a false epistemology. If we do not turn from our Western heritage, we will be destroyed with it.

If the truth in this message calls to you, repent and learn His ways.

Prophetic Reasoning in Disasters

(This is a prophetcraft post.)

Let’s clarify the biblical understanding of disasters.

The starting point is humanity is fallen. In Adam, we all chose the wrong path; we chose human reason over the direct guidance of the Holy Spirit. We have no native connection to the Holy Spirit, though we are designed for it. Thus, we are spiritually dead. We cannot natively see the moral fabric of the universe; we do not natively understand the divine element in things. The moral fabric includes God’s perspective on things, a raft of divine motivations and expectations. We don’t have that. We are restricted to the human reasoning we chose when we ate the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge.

So we don’t have an instinctive understanding of how the world works. Nature is not fallen in itself, but under the Fall because we — God’s chosen management — have no power to manage. We can’t see what nature does from God’s point of view, so we can’t manage it by God’s power. We are blind and powerless. Instead, we stumble along with our damaged human perception and pitiful science.

After the Fall, God granted His Flaming Sword of truth, His revelation. You can’t embrace it unless you embrace the death of your human reasoning. In more clinical terms, you have to embrace obedience to a faculty above reason, a birth of the spirit by the Presence of His Spirit. He alone controls that on a basis He cannot explain because we cannot understand it. All we can understand is the blunt statement nothing in any human resource can affect whom, when and if He chooses to give spiritual life. His Word implies there is an accountability, but the word “choice” does not apply to us in any sense we understand. Stop trying to define that because it is beyond human capabilities. The point is, if you don’t embrace what He has offered, symbolized by the Flaming Sword, you can’t rise above the curse of the Fall in any way. The Sword is the path back to Eden.

What we do have within our grasp is the Laws of God. Those Laws provide a representation of the moral fabric; they are not the moral fabric itself. Rather, they come to us packaged in a different reasoning, a totally different frame of reference from what most people would assume in the absence of any divine guidance. His revelation is not rules and laws as humans would define them, but as God defines them within His revelation. It’s a package; you get the content only when you accept the packaging.

Human reasoning excludes revelation before it even starts building, so it puts us at a disadvantage. Human reasoning assumes there is nothing outside the universe; this is it. It’s everything and we have to understand it by our senses and our logic. Revelation assumes the universe is a piffle, something not that important, a poor shadow of what could be. Revelation assumes you aren’t too worried about what’s here because there is so much more and so much better beyond it. What we have here is temporary, broken and not all that useful. This is just the beginning of explaining the difference. But revelation is within the reach of anyone who chooses to obey it. Obeying it means embracing the underlying intellectual frame of reference.

Revelation comes in the form of imperatives to obey. It’s a call to personal commitment to a Person, God Himself. He alone is truth, and all else is shadowy lies. There is nothing outside Him that matters. There is no objective body of truth possible. Start there and you will begin understanding the world in which you live. Reject that fundamental assumption about reality, and you’ll make mistakes.

So the world in which we live is untamed and unguided because we don’t have the full weight of God’s revelation in our beings. We have only a shadowy representation, but that does help a lot. It does put us in a position to leverage morality to modify the universe and it’s random behavior. If we choose to obey what little of God’s revelation we can understand, we can avoid the worst of natural events that will disrupt our activities. Since our activities will be based on revelation, we would tend avoid trouble. We also gain leverage to ask God to help us in two ways: (1) We will get a clue to His plans and stay out of the way of wrath and (2) He will ameliorate His wrath on our behalf when it passes close to us.

Do you recall the Exodus, where God distinguished between Egyptians and Israel? He can do that every time, but we first have to understand how to be in a position to understand how it works. The particulars of the Passover in Egypt were not the point, but what they say about underlying reality. The entire foundation of Western Civilization is hostile to that kind of understanding. America in particular has fought it tooth and nail, with even those called by the Spirit offering a hostile understanding of His message and perverting His revelation. That is, Christians and their organizations typically misrepresent what God’s revelation says to humans because they have embraced certain fundamental lies. They reject the Hebrew intellectual approach God mandated for understanding the Bible, using an alternative epistemology. This is the sin of trying to hold God accountable to an alien standard. It doesn’t work too well.

So we end up with lots of good Christian people in Moore building their houses, schools and businesses in places where God already planned some tornadoes. Worses, their refusal to embrace Hebrew revelatory reasoning means they can’t effectively ask God to spare them. Instead, they have to rely on the science of meteorology for a brief warning before His planned wrath against sin falls. No, I cannot promise you that the tornado would have taken a different path if that neighborhood had been true believers of the sort I teach, but it would have been the only hope for such a request before God. Western Christian morality is pretty much a failure against God’s standard.

My house received a minor beating from hail. I could explain scientifically how that hail was made worse for us by where the storm collapsed, the same storm cell that chewed up Moore. That’s not important, nor is this house, when it comes down to it. However, God’s Word tells me that if I could have convinced my neighborhood to embrace His revelation, it might not have been so bad. As it was, our minor hail damage represents God’s mercy in stopping the storm there, instead of pushing it farther and entirely too close to us. We got hail instead of wind damage that could have shredded our trailer park. It’s not a simple accounting process, but the fuzzy reasoning of moral truth as revealed in the Bible.

The issue of clarity is not in the results, but in the commitment to His revelation.

I am blessed. Think about it: With all this pervasive surveillance and electronic snooping, I am guaranteed all my prophetic warnings against the US government are surely noticed, archived and waiting for the time when God proves His Word lives in me.

Not that it will do them any good, and I seriously doubt it will make my human existence any better. That was never the objective. The objective is to cling to the truth of God and let it take my human life where it will. I’ll be glad when it’s all over and I get to go Home to Heaven, but until then, this is my mission.

I’m not like the lawyers’ Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas (Westboro). I reject their Western epistemology. Some few things they say are accurate, but not true, and their actions represent nothing in Scripture. They don’t understand the Hebrew point of view, so they don’t understand the Bible. My message is totally different.

Indeed, the sin of the Westboro Phelps crew is the quintessential sin of the West in general, and America in particular. They are an expression of what’s wrong with America, the same fundamental error with a different flavoring, all growing from the same root. America has rejected God’s Word as He gave it, and when they bother referring to it all, they get it desperately wrong because they reject the intellectual foundation God used to build His revelation. The West is burning with hatred for God’s truth.

So today we have sent our hatred abroad in the form of our troops in every sector of planet. Where we do not have them already, we are determined to destroy whatever keeps them out. We are currently sending money and weapons into Syria, stirring up fake Muslims to insane hatred that they would just as gladly bring to our shores. Give them time. Right now, they are ripping up Assad’s government. On my human side, I suspect Assad will fall, but only as a symbol. I seriously doubt the rebels will actually win much, and will eventually lose.

We did not win in Iraq; we simply destroyed what we built and gave the plutocrats another masked opportunity to raid the US economy in the process. We’ve pretty much left it to the residents to fight it out with terribly destroyed infrastructure. This does have something to do with the natural disasters striking the US; God is returning our destruction on our own heads and He’s just getting started.

We didn’t win in Afghanistan. Without our constant presence and occupation, we cannot even pretend to hold any ground there. As soon as we back out the least bit, our presumed enemy will simply recover with a vengeance. We have the money and the training, but they have everything else we lack, which is an awful lot. They have God on their side by default, because we are surely more evil in His sight. Yes, they are far closer to obeying His Laws.

So we won’t be able to accomplish much in Syria beyond an attempt to destroy what little good they have. They’ll reorganize and rebuild despite us, and we won’t be able to prevent it. But when we attack Iran, God will use the occasion to finish us off. This is from God, a prophetic warning: We will lose in battle against Iran. God Himself will fight for their side. He won’t even bother to explain why, because it will be too late.

Our propaganda excuses for all this hate are pretty thin; everyone knows it has to do with a huge move by plutocrats, the shadow government that actually runs things here and in a lot of other countries. That would include Israel. No, Israel does not write US policy, despite how it appears. Our policy is written by the same demons who write theirs, working through the same select group of human agents. These are the folks whom we have all elected to obey simply by refusing to understand things well enough to recognize the evil they have planned. We have closed our eyes and bought the lesser lies because it came wrapped in a promise of material and creature comfort.

We trade holiness and divine guidance for material prosperity, so we shall have neither. We have purchased the spilling of vast oceans of innocent blood and even the destruction of tornadoes are our own fault. But in righteousness we will attempt to reach out in kindness to recover what is left for our own. That’s one of our few virtues. Too bad we can’t treat the rest of the world that way; instead, we send our hatred wrapped up in ever-changing uniforms and weapons systems.

The really cool part is I know for a certainty the US government bureaucrats will read this and analyze it and at least a few folks guilty of keeping this wall of propaganda in place to obscure the truth will have no excuse when God puts His hands of wrath on their lives.

Kindness Needs No Reason

Wednesday 22 May 2013 2 comments

Reason gets in the way of a lot of godly things.

Kindness is a command. It is a motivation unto itself in the sense it seeks no particular outcome. If we tie things to outcome, we fail God completely. Seeking an outcome is rejecting His rule; it gets in His way, seeks to limit His hand. The outcome is always in His hands; He said so in many ways and places in the Bible. It’s included in this blog’s title: Do What’s Right. Do it because it is right, not for any other reason. Our search for divine justice is the end in itself. Justice is not an end product; it is the living grasp at the vital divine element still within reach in the fallen realm of existence.

I would have thought this was obvious, but I keep seeing references that seek to constrain kindness or other virtues to some reason for doing them. Stop that. It’s the wrong approach from the start; it’s evil. It reduces things to instrumentality and clings to the fallen nature of our humanity. Need a motivation? God’s glory. That’s the only reason He hasn’t taken you home to your reward already. He isn’t done with you in His glory. There is no end point on this side of eternity in the sense God is pointing at some goal. The “goal” is His glory all day long. He seldom bothers to reveal to us when His glory is finished with us. Let Him take care of the results and stop trying to steer things to a conclusion. What’s right is right regardless of human disappointments or celebrations.

In this moment, always in this moment, do what’s right. You don’t need any other reason.
